User Agreement & Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of this Agreement

By accessing or using this website, including chat features, account tools, uploads, and profile pages, you agree to this User Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

The service provides an AI-assisted portfolio experience, including conversational responses based on uploaded profile content and platform-provided context.

  • Core features may change, be improved, or be discontinued over time.
  • Some features may require an authenticated account.
  • Availability and response quality may vary by traffic, model limits, and third-party infrastructure.

3. Your Account and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Integrity

  • Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Protect your login credentials and account access.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, unless caused by our breach.

3.2 Permitted Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
  • Upload content you do not have rights to use.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, quota controls, or access restrictions.
  • Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or automate access in a way that harms the service.

4. Content, Data, and Licenses

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload or provide. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service for your account and authorized use cases.

4.2 Platform Content and Outputs

The interface, branding, software, and service design are owned by us or our licensors. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before use in sensitive decisions.

4.3 Data Handling

Data handling practices, retention controls, and user choices are described in the Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding data handling, the Privacy Policy controls for that topic.

4.4 Contextual Advertising

We may use contextual signals derived from your content and activity on the service (for example topic categories, professional interests, or page context) to decide which ads to show.

We do not place your uploaded files, prompts, private profile text, or chat content directly into ad creatives. Ads shown may be selected based on context, but your content itself is not used as ad copy, images, audio, or video.

5. Communications and Notices

You agree to receive service-related notices (including security, account, and operational updates) by in-product notification or by email where applicable.

6. Availability, Changes, and Suspension

  • We may update features, limits, or policies to maintain service quality and security.
  • We may suspend or limit access where necessary to protect users, systems, or legal compliance.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance when feasible.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that AI responses will be error-free, complete, or suitable for legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service will be limited to the greater of: (a) amounts paid by you for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of this Agreement, legal risk, abuse, or security threats.

Provisions that by nature should survive termination (for example ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms) will continue after termination.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless required otherwise by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You and we agree to attempt informal resolution first. If unresolved, disputes may be brought in courts located in California, unless another venue is required by law.

11. General Terms

  • If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of rights.
  • You may not assign this Agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganization or sale.
  • This Agreement and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us for this service.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the contact channels listed on this site.
